On the occasion of the Arab Orphan Day, which falls on the first of April of each year, the Industrial Islamic Orphanage Institution held a central ceremony in Jerusalem governorate under the patronage of the French Islamic Relief Society on Wednesday, 5/4/2017.
The ceremony was attended by the heads of the local councils, the director of the Endowment for Jerusalem affairs, Sheikh Ibrahim Za'tara, and a number of regional dignitaries and parents of students.
The ceremony began with the Palestinian national anthem, and the ceremony was given by Fathia Abu Hilal and Maysoun Afana.
In a speech to the General Director of the Institution, Mr. Mouaid Al-Helou welcomed the attendees as he talked about the achievements and projects that have been accomplished and the future vision of the Institution in order to develop its performance and its divisions to serve this segment of society. He also praised the role of the Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs in providing its full support to the Institution. Islamic Relief Society - France for its generous patronage of this ceremony and for the continuous cooperation in the development of the Foundation and its departments.
The ceremony included many artistic paragraphs that won the admiration of all the students performed by the internal section under the supervision of the department supervisors.
At the end of the ceremony, Mr. Mouaid El Helou, General Director of the Institution, delivered an appreciation shield to the representative of the French Islamic Relief Society, project coordinatorMrs. Salam Tamimi in recognition of the support provided by the Association to the Foundation.
