As usual, the Industrial Islamic Orphanage, since its establishment more than a century ago and being the custodial mother for the children of martyrs and orphans, and under the guidance of Hajj Nidal Muhammad Amin Al-Jaabari, General Director of the Orphanage, the Palestinian Children’s Day activities were hosted in cooperation with the Jerusalem Governorate, represented by Mr. Abdullah Siam, Deputy Governor. Mrs. Amani Qurei, Director of the Governor’s Office, the Child Protection Network, the Ministry of Social Development, the Independent Commission, and local community institutions, Mr. Siam and Al-Jaabari stressed in two brief speeches the right of the children of Palestine in general and Gaza in particular to live a dignified and safe life.

Many activities were implemented, including educational activities, drawing murals, and messages written by the children, calling on the whole world to stand by with Palestinian child and defend him and his freedom to live in dignity. At the conclusion of the activities, the partners and attendees expressed their deep thanks to the Genral Director of orphanage and all its staff for hosting the activities on Palestinian Children’s Day and for the efforts made to make the events and cooperation a success.
