His Eminence Sheikh Yousef Idais, Minister of Awqaf and Religious Affairs, stressed on the importance of developing and sponsoring the Jerusalem institutions in order to protect and support the Jerusalemite citizen who suffers from violations of the Israeli occupation and his daily hardships in all his life affairs.
He added that Jerusalem, the Al-Aqsa Mosque and all Jerusalemite institutions, whether religious or civil, need every effort to protect and defend them. He also pledged to give the Foundation its branches in Jerusalem and Al-Eizariya all the care and support of the Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs.
In turn, the General Director of the Institution, Mr. Moayad Al-Hilo, highlighted the important projects and the achievements made in the Institution and its future vision in order to develop its performance and its departments to serve this segment of society. He also praised the role of the Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs in providing its full support to the Institution and the donors and supporters for the development of the institution and its departments, and everyone who contributed to its architecture and continuity.
At the end of the tour, al-Hilu stressed the importance of the institution established to care for the families of the martyrs at the beginning of the 20th century in 1922, to establish them as a religious and professional upbringing and to bring to the society useful members for themselves, their homeland and their nation.
